It’s cost effective to corporations to pollute, so they pollute. There is more profit in milking the last drop of fossil fuel than there is to find alternatives. The profit motive is far to selfish to solve the environmental problems facing the world. If you primary concern is profit, you are not serious about addressing the problems.
