You have mentioned overpopulation several times. I've harped on it quite a bit. It seems quite obvious that given fixed resources a planet would have a limit to its population, yet it's a non-starter. It's taboo. Even limiting families to two children can't be considered yet it would have a profound effect. We could reduce the world population by four billion by 2100 with a limit to two children but we won't. Instead, we'll increase the population by an additional 2 billion.
