You know there are lots of possibilities. As you said they have been talking about this for twenty years. I suppose that's what frustrates me the most, ignoring a festering problem in need of a solution. People know how to plan to plan for their future.

I think we need something in place, because some people will do absolutely nothing on their own, then they end up being a drain on welfare.

A public or private plan work for me. I really like you UBI idea as well. I never considered starting it at birth, but that would give everyone a good start.
