Your cat looks ready for some quality time. In our day it was the TV. When I started life over after my first ten years of marriage, Suzy and I agreed we survive quite nicely without a TV. Our four young children interacted more, we played more games, we read more. My wife and I both educators and avid readers wanted to foster reading above all else. Going without network or cable TV became a lifelong habit for us. Good luck!
